Spring weather finally arrived almost everywhere now in Europe and as usual I was cleaning up my wardrobe. It felt so good to put the thick jackets and sweaters away, although I still keep a few cosy jumpers for layering my outfits, as mornings and evenings can still be quite fresh. I also added some new items to my Spring wardrobe and I can’t wait to show them to you:) Generally speaking, I am still totally into light colours like pastel pink, light blue, mint and of course white! White pieces are so clean that you can’t go wrong wearing it during Spring. But it can be also too monotonous wearing only white, however there are a few guidances which I’d like to share with you:
You won’t believe it.. my white dress is over 7 years old and I wore it the last time at my civil wedding:). Nevertheless, I wanted to find a use for this dress because it’s such a shame just hanging it in the wardrobe for years, don’t you think? I love getting old items out of the wardrobe and create totally new looks. And as you might know me, I also love to combine elegant pieces with sporty ones, so I put on my fila sneakers and added some glitter with the socks *g* to dress the outfit down. First, I combined the dress with throwing on a cream white cosy sweater and the the other choice was to put on the long slungy blazer. When it’s still a bit chilly, a cosy jumper is a perfect option for a layering game.
Can I tell you, I’m so glad that fanny packs are made a comback. I’ve got myself one in light pink – again a bright colour, which I think, is perfect for Spring and Summer. What’s so good about those belt bags, that you can really use them as a belt to break down the look and it works perfect wearing them over jackets or blazers. I’m totally for beltbags and white in Spring, what about you?
Wish you a great weekend!
