Prettiest way to wear pastels

Nothing says spring more than pastels, so say hello to those soft colours! Creamy and light pinks and blues may sound subtle but when styled in the right way,  it can be just as eye-catching as a bright pop of colour. We see so many beautiful lemon, mint, pale pink and dusty blue hues around. Of course, pale pink and pastel blue are well known shades, that are very simple to combine with basic colors. Even if girlish look isn’t typically your style, you can adopt some of the cool tonal pieces, that will make you feel cool and ladylike at the same time.

The possibilities of wearing pastels might seem easy, if you pair it with black and white clothes. You can never go wrong wearing pastels with black or white separates and you can always replace black with soft grey or beige, as some of you might think black could be too much grungy. Nevertheless, you have to be careful with your choice of accessories like bags and shoes. Personally, I love pairing pastels with white. Just imagine pale blue and white or blush and white, sounds so pretty and sweet.

Go monochrome! I’ve chosen one color and you can stick with it throughout your outfit and maybe try it with one of spring’s other big trends. A risqué crop top looks sophisticated in a light bright color. I am also a big fan of pant suits, so this light blue suit got me instantly. It’s perfect for an event or even going to office as it has a very mature and neat way to show off. But, (yes here comes the but:): When it comes to what silhouette flatters which body type, especially for a trouser suit, you might need those tipps: Ankle-skimming, slim-cut trousers without a turn-up are best for petites, who should also shun ultra-long sleeves. Curvier figures should avoid too much volume and choose fabrics that skim rather than cling – a gently waisted blazer would be perfect. Longer, straight-cut trousers work best for fuller figures and pear shapes, while pinstripes elongate any frame – a softer, less defined pinstripe feels more current now.

The right trouser suit will make you feel more confident, and you should know it the second you put it on. It should make you look taller, thinner, richer. It should make you feel pulled together, and it should be your best partner as well:)!

How about you, do you like pastel colours and pant suits? Let me know!

I wish you a lovely weekend.
