How to wear the double-coat trend

A trench coat is one of the items that most of us have in our wardrobes, it’s definitely a staple piece that can be worn and it doesn’t really go out of style. However, wearing a trench coat can get boring, but not if you have followed current streetstyles which you might have spotted during Fashion weeks.

These days the trench coat is a lot more than just your ulitimate layer. In the age of street style and fashionbloggers your coat is the first piece people notice of your look, so it’d better be a good one! For Spring 2018, some designers  had the idea of wearing two coats or jackets at once, as already in Autum we had many fav’s jackets for exaple the oversized denim, plaid blazer, fluffy coats or camel (trench) coat, so why not wearing two of your favorite statement pieces at the same time?

The essential styling might seem complicated at first, but there are some practical advantages. It’s still freezing cold outside, and you’lle be well-prepared in the kind of doubling up with the plus of a little extra warmth. So take your layering skills  to a whole new level by working with blazers, trenchers, bikers, cardis and coats that you already own and build a more considered, more structured silhoutte for this persistent cold.

In collaboration with Romwe I’ve picked this short trench coat and created for you different double-coat looks, even one you could also wear in Spring, which is hopefully very soon!

Have a cozy weekend and stay warm!
