Pastel pieces are traditionally sweet, especially lavender is a very soft color. Combine pastel lavender for example with icy, metallic, textured pieces that you can wear top-to-toe or team with your denim, leather, suede or neoprene wardrobe staples. It’s fresh and feminine, but not too girly, plus it looks great when you’ve got a bit of a tan going on:).
Day wear wise, a lavender top tucked into a denim pencil skirt with cut-out ankle boots or flatforms looks great and gives you an edgy look. Personally, I would not wear lavender with white as I would miss some sophisticated and hip flair in the outfit.
That’s why I’ve chosen to wear my off the shoulder lavender top with one of my favorite denim skirt. In addition I found these cute little suede sandals (I know again:) at na-kd.com. The sandals are from a Scandinavian shoe brand called Henry Kole and is inspired by the modern and urban lifestyle. I got inspired as well when I saw the shoe collection as it’s effortlessly chic. Lavender and the brown suede sandal I found just a perfect match, likewise I find the lavender top a perfect transitional piece for fall as you can wear it with jeans and under a grey blazer or coat for example:) How would you style lavender?
Wish you all a great week ahead.
